Pricing · Corporate video

What a corporate video actually costs.

Most production companies answer this with “it depends.” Here are my real numbers, what moves them up or down, and how to get the most out of whatever you spend.

Written quote, usually within a dayTravel included within about 45 minutesNathan on every shoot

The short answer

A corporate video with me starts at $3,500. A brand film or commercial starts at $5,000. Productions that run over several days or several locations start at $10,000. If what you really need is a handful of short videos for LinkedIn and social, the 3-Video Shoot is $999 for three.

For comparison, Orlando-area video companies publish prices from about $3,500 to $15,000 for a finished company overview or brand video. Where your project lands depends on a handful of things you control, and they are all below.

What changes the price

What moves the number.

Length is rarely one of them. Two videos of the same length can be priced very differently because of what's below.

Shoot days

The biggest lever. One well-planned day produces more than most people expect. A second day usually comes from a second location or a schedule, not from needing more footage.

Locations

Every move means breaking down camera, lights and audio and setting them up again. Three rooms in one building is easy. Three buildings across town is a different day.

Who's on camera

Interviews take time to light and time to get right. Five leaders at twenty minutes each is a real part of the day, and people who've never been filmed need a few minutes to settle in.

Script and planning

A scripted piece needs the script written and approved before the shoot. An interview-driven piece gets shaped in the edit. Both work. They cost differently.

Drone and graphics Drone $499 per site

Aerials of your building, campus or job site are $499 per site. Custom animated graphics, like a process or numbers on screen, add edit time.

Versions

A 2-minute overview, a 30-second cut for LinkedIn and vertical cuts for social all come out of the same footage. Planning them up front costs far less than asking for them later.

Revisions and rush $75 per extra round

Your quote says how many revision rounds are included. Extra rounds are $75 each. Same-day turnaround is available for an added fee, so tell me about deadlines on the first call.

Crew size

A smaller corporate shoot needs one person with a cinema camera, lights and audio. Bigger productions bring in more crew, like a second camera, audio or hair and makeup, only when the project needs it.

Travel

Travel is included within about 45 minutes of Deltona, which covers Orlando, Lake Mary, Sanford and Daytona Beach. Further out is possible, and it's part of the quote.

What you're paying for.

A corporate video isn't expensive because of the hour I'm in your building. It's the camera, audio and lighting kit, about $50,000 of it. It's ten years of making videos for businesses, and knowing how to get someone who has never been on camera to sound like themselves.

Then it's the edit, which is most of the work: choosing the moments that matter, cutting them so people keep watching, grading the color, and cleaning up the sound so your CEO doesn't sound like they're in a stairwell.

That's also why I quote by the project, not the hour. You know the number before anything is booked.

How to get more for the same budget

  • Plan several videos from one shoot day. Setup is the expensive part. Once the lights are up, a second and third video cost far less than booking another day.
  • Keep it to one location if the story allows it.
  • Have the people and the spaces ready. Rooms cleared, people scheduled in blocks, and someone on site who can make decisions.
  • Decide every version you need up front: the long one, the short one, the vertical ones.
  • If you'll need video every month, a monthly plan brings the price per video down, and retainer clients get quoted work like this at a lower rate.
Proof

The work speaks first.

“I got exactly what I needed. I needed a professional video made and I needed it turned around in 24 hours. Nathan scheduled me in immediately. I traveled up to Deltona to shoot at his studio and had the video in hand the next day. Amazing.”

Jon Cobb · Google review

“Nathan does an excellent job of creating a variety of promotional videos with little to no input from the client. He has excellent judgement on what will work with the target audience and one of his videos he created for us has had over 500K views on Facebook.”

Nathan LaValley holding a cinema camera rig

You'll work with me, start to finish.

I'm Nathan LaValley. I've spent ten years making videos for businesses, more than 1,000 of them for over 100 local owners. I'm on every shoot and every edit, so the person you talk to on the first call is the person behind the camera.

That matters more than it sounds. I already know which videos get a phone call and which ones just get a like, so we plan for the call.

Questions people ask

How much does a 2-minute corporate video cost?+

Length matters less than people think. A 2-minute interview-driven overview filmed at one location in one day sits at the start of the range, from $3,500. The same 2 minutes with a script, several locations and custom graphics costs more because of the extra days and edit time, not the minutes.

Do you charge by the hour?+

Corporate work is quoted per project, in writing, before anything is booked, so you know the number up front. The 3-Video Shoot is a fixed $999.

Do you write the script?+

Yes, when the video needs one. For brand films and commercials, creative development and the script are part of the production. Interview-driven pieces don't need a full script: we plan the questions together and shape the story in the edit.

Can you film at our Orlando office?+

Yes. I'm based in Deltona, and travel is included within about 45 minutes, which covers Orlando, Lake Mary, Sanford and Daytona Beach. Further out is possible for the right project, and we'd talk about it on the call.

How long does it take?+

The 3-Video Shoot is delivered within 7 days. For quoted projects the timeline is written into the quote, because it depends on the shoot days and the edit. If you have a deadline, say so on the first call.

Is the $999 shoot the same quality?+

Same cinema camera, same person behind it, same edit standard. It's one hour and three short videos instead of a planned production, which is why it's priced as an easy first step.
